Christmas Tree Varieties
Fraser Fir
Our freshly-cut fraser firs come from Indiana, Pennsylvania - the Christmas tree capital of the U.S. These trees are cut one week before they arrive at our farm, so they are more fragrant and long-lasting than trees sold by street stands and stores. Frasers are a Christmas favorite because of their soft and beautiful dual-color needles and strong fragrance.

Colorado Blue Spruce
The Blue Spruce is a beautiful tree with green and blue coloring. All Blue Spruces are different: some are very grey, like the Norway Spruce, others are green, and others are very blue. They have very strong branches that will hold all types of ornaments well. Blue Spruces are by far the most prickly trees on any farm you will vist. If you like the Blue Spruce, we also suggest that you look at the Norway Spruce. We have Blue Spruces in heights up to 5 feet.

White Pine
The White Pine is also a popular tree because it is more cost-effective and very lightweight so it can be cut down and transported very easily. This beautiful tree variety has long, soft needles that are very easy to work with, but not quite as strong as the other varieties, so you'll want another type of tree if you have heavier ornaments. If you have lightweight ornaments this is the tree for you! White Pines are available in heights up to 5-6 feet.

Douglas Fir
The Douglas Fir is our most popular tree for many reasons. It's very easy to cut down, it holds its needles for a long time, it has a strong scent, it is not too prickly for children to decorate, and it will hold ornaments very well (even the heavier ones). This is by far the easiest variety of tree to work with and it is absolutely beautiful. We have these available up to about 5-6 feet in height.
